Fundraising Continues

I just received an update from Jessica's cousin Heidi...she put together the slideshow for her classmates to help raise money for Jessica's trip.

Heidi's words:

"I raised about $245!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really surprised and happy."

Way to go Heidi and a BIG thank you to all your classmates at SCC Middle School!

A little history...

A few years back (on my 28th birthday to be exact) Jessica went thru a successful kidney transplant surgery. She was very lucky to have a donor that was close to her...her dad!

Now, over 10 years later, she is doing ok (currently in limbo for another new kidney) and now wants the opportunity to educate and maybe help a few others that may need it. We're hoping for another trip to the Transplant Games in 2012 (but we're not quite sure when and if they are having them).
